Straight Answers For Your Recovery Questions

Find quick answers to common questions about VitalForm products, maintenance, and shipping. We aim to provide all the information you need to make the most of your recovery and mobility tools. 01 — Choice

Product Choice And Usage

Guidance on choosing the right firmness and tool type for your recovery routine.

Q

Which Foam Roller Is Best For A Beginner?

We recommend starting with our standard-density foam roller. It provides enough pressure to be effective without being overly intense for those new to myofascial release. As your muscles become accustomed to the pressure, you can transition to firmer or textured rollers.

Q

How Do I Choose Between A Massage Ball And A Peanut Ball?

A single massage ball works well for targeting specific muscle knots in the shoulders, glutes, or feet. A peanut massage ball — shaped as two connected spheres — is designed to straddle the spine and address the muscles along either side of your back. If your focus is back stretching and relieving tension along the spine, the peanut shape is the better starting point. For isolated trigger points elsewhere, a round ball offers more direct pressure.

Q

Which Resistance Bands Should I Start With?

Our fitness bands come in progressive tension levels, colour-coded from light to heavy. If you are new to resistance training or returning after a break, begin with the lightest band and focus on controlled repetitions. Once you can complete a full set without strain, move up to the next level. The bands pair well with stretching for beginners and safe exercises for knees, since they let you load muscles without placing direct stress on the joint.

02 — Care

Maintenance And Care

Keep your equipment performing well with simple cleaning and storage habits.

Q

How Should I Clean My Yoga Mat And Rollers?

Our equipment is designed to be low-maintenance. We recommend wiping down your mats and rollers after each use with a damp cloth and a mild, non-abrasive soap. Ensure all equipment is completely air-dried before storing it in a cool, dry place out of direct sunlight to maintain the integrity of the materials.

Q

Can I Use My Pilates Mat And Equipment Outdoors?

Our yoga and pilates mats are suited to indoor and studio use. If you take a mat outside, place it on a clean, flat surface and wipe away any grit or sand before rolling it up. Prolonged sun exposure can degrade the foam and the mat grip, so we recommend keeping outdoor sessions short and storing equipment indoors between uses. Resistance bands and knee support sleeves should also be kept away from direct heat and rough ground.

Q

How Do I Maintain A Knee Support Sleeve Or Back Cushion?

Hand-wash support sleeves in cool water with a mild detergent, then let them air-dry flat away from direct heat. Do not tumble-dry or iron them — heat breaks down the elastic fibres and shortens the sleeve's working life. For back support cushions, spot-clean the cover with a damp cloth and let it dry fully before use. Regular care keeps the support consistent and the fit snug over time.

03 — Delivery

Shipping And Delivery

Processing times, UK delivery windows, and order tracking.

Q

How Long Does Delivery Take Within The UK?

Most orders are processed within 24 hours. Standard delivery typically takes 3 to 5 business days across the UK. We also offer expedited shipping options if you need your recovery tools sooner. You will receive a tracking number via email as soon as your order leaves our Bristol warehouse.

Q

Do You Ship Outside The UK?

We currently fulfil orders from our Bristol warehouse for mainland UK addresses. If you are ordering from elsewhere, contact us at [email protected] before placing your order and we will confirm whether delivery is available to your location, along with any additional shipping cost. We do not dispatch orders to addresses we cannot track to a confirmed delivery point.

Q

What Should I Do If My Order Arrives Damaged?

Inspect your parcel on arrival. If a foam roller, massage ball, or mat has been crushed or scuffed in transit, send a photo of the item and the packaging to [email protected] within 48 hours and we will arrange a replacement or refund. Do not dispose of the original packaging until we confirm — our courier may request it as part of the claim.

04 — Returns

Returns And Exchanges

Return windows, condition requirements, and how to start a return.

Q

What Is Your Return Policy?

We want you to be happy with your VitalForm equipment. If a product does not meet your expectations, you can return it in its original, unused condition within 30 days of purchase for a full refund or exchange. Please contact our support team to initiate the return process and receive a return authorisation.

Q

Can I Exchange A Product For A Different Firmness?

Yes. If you ordered a foam roller or massage ball and find the firmness does not suit your routine, you may exchange it for a different density within the 30-day window, provided the original item is unused and returned in its original packaging. Contact our support team with your order number and the firmness you would prefer, and we will guide you through the exchange.

Q

When Will I Receive My Refund?

Once we receive the returned item and confirm it is in original, unused condition, we process the refund within 5 business days to the original payment method. Your bank may take an additional few days to show the funds in your account. If more than 10 business days pass without the refund appearing, contact us at [email protected] and we will follow up with the payment provider.

05 — Safe Use

Safety And Constraints

How to use recovery tools sensibly and when to seek qualified guidance.

Q

Can I Use These Tools If I Have A Pre-Existing Injury?

While our tools are designed for general recovery and mobility, they should be used with caution. We strongly recommend consulting with a qualified professional before starting a new routine if you have physical concerns. Always stop if you experience sharp discomfort and follow the guidelines provided in our mobility guide.

Q

How Much Pressure Should I Apply When Foam Rolling?

Work with moderate pressure rather than forcing the roller into a sore area. A useful cue: if you instinctively hold your breath or brace against the sensation, ease off. Move slowly along the muscle belly — roughly one inch per second — and pause on any tight spot for 20 to 30 seconds before continuing. Foam rolling exercises work best when the muscle can relax under the roller, not when it is fighting it.

Q

Are These Tools Suitable For Older Users?

Our mobility tools for seniors are selected with gentle pressure and simple handling in mind. Lighter-density rollers, softer massage balls, and lighter resistance bands let you relieve muscle tension and improve flexibility without forcing a range of motion your joints are not ready for. If balance or floor work is a concern, pair the tools with a sturdy chair or wall for support, and start with short sessions of five to ten minutes.

06 — Bulk

Wholesale And Bulk Orders

Pricing for studios, gyms, and fitness professionals.

Q

Do You Offer Discounts For Fitness Professionals?

Yes, we provide special pricing for fitness instructors, studios, and gym owners who wish to purchase our equipment in bulk. Please contact us at [email protected] with your business details and requirements, and we will provide you with a customised quote.

Q

What Is The Minimum Order For Bulk Pricing?

Bulk pricing applies to orders of ten or more units across a single product category — for example, ten foam rollers or ten resistance band sets. Mixed orders are welcome, and we can put together a package suited to a studio timetable or class size. Send your requirements to [email protected] and we will respond with a tailored quotation and lead time.

Q

Can You Supply Branded Equipment For A Studio?

We focus on unbranded, durable recovery tools rather than custom branding. For studios ordering in volume, we can colour-coordinate roller sets, massage ball densities, and resistance band levels so instructors can run classes with consistent equipment across the room. If you have a specific colour or density requirement, include it in your email and we will confirm availability.
